Stress: This includes anxiety or sudden changes in their environment.
Other Abnormalities: Such as osteopenia (bone thinning), a narrowed pelvic canal, spinal cord injuries, or neurological disorders.
Proper diagnosis should always be conducted by a veterinarian. The vet will typically ask about their diet, husbandry history, and other relevant events. They will perform a physical examination to check for any other complications or illnesses, often accompanied by radiographic diagnostics (like X-rays) to assess the severity of the condition.
